 Bogus trade deficit

Does China really enjoy a trade surplus? It does not appear so.

As usual, the media tells us things that simply makes no common sense at all like how China enjoys a trade surplus against the west.

First of all, there could NEVER be a trade surplus for China, simply
because there are more people in China. So even if every Amerikan buys
a Xiaomi, that would never amount to more than the number of Iphones
Chinese buy. It simply would make no sense at all whatsoever for China
to enjoy any form of trade surplus.

Secondly, China has far fewer restrictions on foreign goods than
western countries do. Western countries like Amerika, and Canada create
all sorts of barriers for Chinese products such as Xiaomi to get in.

Go to any Chinese supermarket, and you will see foreign goods all over.
You've got coke, doritos, nestle, and dozens of foreign imports. On the
other hand, if you go to a western supermarket, Chinese products are
nowhere to be found. Foreign brands such as Samsung, Iphone, LG, and
Nokia are all over Chinese markets, and websites. However, Chinese
phones are nowhere to be found on the Amerikan market. Popular brands
such as Oppo, Xiaomi, and Meizu can't be bought in America, yet iphone
can be found everywhere in China, even in small towns. Nike Reebok,
Adidas and New Balance flood the Chinese markets, yet where are Anta,
and Lining in western markets? You won't find any Chinese sneakers in
the west. There are western fast food chains all over China. You have
KFC, Pizza Hut, Mcdonalds, Burger King, Starbucks, to name a few, but
when has there ever been a Chinese franchinese in the west? In fact,
there are none. Western "language schools" are rampant all over China,
yet how many Chinese schools do you see in the west? Probably none.
Amazon, and ebay are both allowed to operate out of China, however, is
JD, and Taobao allowed to operate in the west? Of course not, don't be
silly. When was the last time you ever saw a Chinese car? You've
probably never seen one. That's because they aren't allowed in Amerika,
Canada, and Europe. But guess what? Western cars flood the Chinese
market everyday, making more money than you can imagine. In fact, GM
sells more cars in China than it does in Amerika. Where's the surplus
data on that? How about Hollywood films? Amerikan film makers
frequently make billions upon billions off the Chinese market, yet when
was the last time you ever heard of a Chinese film making any money off
of western markets? THe last Chinese movie I ever heard of was Iron
Monkey, and if I;m not mistaken that was made by Hongers, and not real
Chinese.

So, are we supposed to accept this surplus fairytale without any
factual data? Apparently so.

One very important factor is that China mainly exports cheap stuff. So
even if every Amerikan buys a pair of shoes at Payless shoe store, Amerikan corporations still come out ahead when only 5% of Chinese buy Timberlands. What you have is Chinese exporting cheap stuff,
while importing very expensive crap (with little value) like Gucci hand
bags. This is why, after 40yrs, China is still poor, and will remain
poor at this rate, for another 40yrs, at least.

And we haven't even begun to calculate the hand outs given to the west
in terms of treasury bonds, and dodgy loans.

Now let's look at tourism. China sends far more tourists to western
countries and their lackeys than western countries or their lackeys
send to China, creating a deficit unfavorable to China. Then look at
students. Once again, China sends far more students to the west than
the west can ever send to China. Tuition is not cheap. The average
Chinese student in the west pays $50,000 or more per year. Then you
factor in housing, food, and transporation. The west, and their lackeys
simply make a killing off of Chinese dupes.

Just by looking at a few simple examples, we can determine that China
has no trade surplus, have we been duped? Can we say that the media
presents us with false, and misleading information? Absolutely.

The truth of the matter is, China has a trade deficit with the west. Do
you think an imperialist west would ever tolerate an actual trade
deficit? It would be impossible, and the west would have attacked China
even if the trade was even, let alone allow China to enjoy a surplus.
